WYOMING COUNTY IDOL
CONTEST RULES
Must be at least 18 years old to enter contest (as of July 8, 2010)
Contestants must arrive for auditions on Friday July 9, 2010 no later than 6:00pm. Audition time will be assigned at time of entry
There will be no lyrics monitor use permitted Contestants may choose from our song selection or will be permitted to bring a Karaoke CD of their choosing (NO CD with Lead Vocals will be permitted). Contestants music may be reviewed by judges if lead vocals are suspected
The final 6 will do a special guest performance at the Wyoming County Fair Sunday August 15, 2010
Judges will be chosen by The Letchworth Pines for the Wyoming County Idol Contest. The decisions of the judges are final
On the 15th week, the judges will select the 5 top contestants to compete in the finals for the prize money. The other 7 contestants will be brought back for a sing-off to do one different song of their choosing. The judges will then pick one of them to compete in the finals based on their performance of that song
Once performance time is scheduled if a contestant is unable to attend on schedule their position is forfeited
You do NOT have to be a resident of Wyoming County to be eligible to enter
Previous Idol Grand Prize Winners are not eligible to enter Employees of the Letchworth Pines and their families are not eligible to enter
